| design problem: window in master bathroom. oy, what to do?! my client doesn't want to block out the light with window treatments, so we've been exploring creative alternatives. i think she's going to go with the picture frames and we'll probably put paper with a print or a textile in the frame rather than a picture. | Here's another option that I'm cooking up for the same client, very similar in style, but a bit warmer. I like to give clients three options so that I don't make my own assumptions about what they want. I believe that an interior space should reflect the identity of the homeowner, not the designer. |

| A big HELLO to all my bloggers! (all five of you). I just wanted to give you an update regarding my absence lately. My dear friend has been in the hospital recovering from a major surgery so, needless to say, I have been a bit distracted. I am pleased to report that she is doing very well! I wanted to do a little tribute to her to celebrate her recovery and wish her well. She LOVES the color purple (not the movie, not the book, but the actual hue), so here it is, the final composition in the Monochromatic series: plum.
