| design problem: window in master bathroom. oy, what to do?! my client doesn't want to block out the light with window treatments, so we've been exploring creative alternatives. i think she's going to go with the picture frames and we'll probably put paper with a print or a textile in the frame rather than a picture. | just thought it might be time for me to start sharing some snippets from my portfolio. this is one of my interior design installations that I like to call "the trendy traditionals." I present a client with a visual composition of the space including a floorplan, wall colors, furniture, art and accessories. it helps to get a visual of the collaboration of products and ideas. | A big HELLO to all my bloggers! (all five of you). I just wanted to give you an update regarding my absence lately. My dear friend has been in the hospital recovering from a major surgery so, needless to say, I have been a bit distracted. I am pleased to report that she is doing very well! I wanted to do a little tribute to her to celebrate her recovery and wish her well. She LOVES the color purple (not the movie, not the book, but the actual hue), so here it is, the final composition in the Monochromatic series: plum.
